Slippage is the worst price you will accept. A copy always enters after the wallet you are following, so the price has already moved by the time your order lands — copies need more room than a buy you place yourself.
Too low and the trade simply fails, and you miss the entry you were trying to copy. Too high and it fills at almost any price, which on a thin token is how a buy lands far worse than the one it was copying. Both directions cost money; they just cost it differently.
Rough guide: 10–15% for liquid tokens, 25–40% for fresh launches, and higher only if fills keep failing. 0 uses your global setting (1%).
